I have to admit, I usually stick to black in my wardrobe. The amount of black jeans I’ve gone through is a little ridiculous. However, I’ve been stepping out of my comfort zone a bit, and picked up some colorful items.

In March, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to India. I spent a few days in Mumbai, and the rest in a village called Chinchoti living with a family. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I’ll never forget it. But that’s not the important part, right? We were so busy that we only had an afternoon to shop, but this is some of the stuff I picked up there!

A few months ago I had stumbled upon a pair of platforms that I absolutely adored. Unfortunately, they were around $350, so I wasn’t able to get them. Then, one day, I was at DSW with my family just browsing, when I came upon the same shoes! They were marked down to 200 and then an additional 40% off and came in my size. Although they were still expensive, I knew I had to have them, and they’re perfect. They add just the right amount of height (I’m 5’1” so that’s always nice!) and are so comfortable!

Last night I went over to my friend Emma’s to hang out, and I came back with Ombre hair. I had been thinking about dying it blonde for ages, and we just decided to do it! It turned out great and I’ll have better photos later.
As you’ll find out as I continue this blog, I have a love for a store called Brandy Melville, and I thought that that might be the best place to hunt for some sheer clothes, which seems to be all the rage right now. And boy, was I right. I walked away with two things, and I’ve been wearing them obsessively ever since!

Hi there! My name is Amelia, and I decided to start this blog on a whim. I love clothing, makeup, and shoes, and it’s mostly how I express myself, so I thought why not start a blog? We’ll see how this goes and I’m sure I’ll edit this later.
